Images from the past

While I’m still figuring out what I’m actually going to write about on this site, not to mention in what language, I thought a good starting point would be some old scans from images my father took.

During Covid, I started digging through my dads old photo archives. Boxes upon boxes of old negatives, some still in decent shape. So let me introduce you to Jyrki Paasi (1941-1995).

Jyrki Paasi was an architect from Helsinki, who worked with Alvar Aalto, among others, before starting his own studio. I have no other information of where or when these pictures were taken but judging by the age of Jyrki, I’d say somewhere around the late 60’s. If you have any more information about these picture, please do reach out.

Nice views. Not sure about the mat though.

It’s possible that he used the Exakta SLR seen in the picture below. I bet he saved up for it a long time.
